Kseniia Perfilieva (b. 1991) is a contemporary Russian sculptor and artist, currently based in Florence. She began her creative path in the digital realm, working as a computer graphics artist and 3D modeller, before turning towards the tactile world of sculpture. This journey led her to the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, where she pursued the study of classical and contemporary sculpture. Today, her practice encompasses both sculpture and drawing, uniting craftsmanship with a profound emotional undercurrent.

Her work is inspired by the fluidity and expressiveness of the human body, exploring how a person’s inner world is intertwined with their physical presence in the tangible one. For Kseniia, the body — its lines, gestures, and movements — becomes a language beyond words, one that reveals truths that speech can obscure.

Guided by intuition rather than strict conceptual frameworks, she sees art as something to be felt rather than decoded. It is an instinctive process — a resonance that emerges from within and finds form in matter. Kseniia’s art delves into the psychological dimensions of human nature, capturing its conflicts, contradictions, and moments of silent revelation.
