More than entertainment — a moment your guests will remember and keep.

Who am I

Hi, I'm Kseniia Perfileva, a Russian-born artist based in Florence, Italy. For years I've been drawing people — in cafés, at markets, on bridges — and now I bring that same spontaneous energy to weddings.

Live sketching is part performance, part guest experience, and part lasting memory.
A warm, quiet presence that turns fleeting moments into something you can hold.
I work in liner and watercolour, capturing likeness, laughter, and atmosphere — one drawing at a time.

I'm based in Florence and available for weddings across Italy.

What's Included

Everything is tailored to your wedding day — intimate or grand, relaxed or elegant.

Live sketching at your venue — I draw guests during cocktail hour, dinner, or throughout the reception.

Original artwork to keep — every sketch is made on quality paper and given to your guests as a gift, or collected for you as a wedding keepsake.

Flexible packages — from 2 to 6 hours depending on your needs
watercolour, colored pencils, charcoal or collage — we choose the style together based on your aesthetic

Optional: a special painting of the bride and groom, which I will make in the studio and send to you by mail.

Every wedding is different — I adapt to your event.

How It Works

  • We connect. You reach out and tell me about your date, venue, and vision. I'll answer every question and we'll find the right package together.
  • I arrive at your venue on the day, I set up quietly. (A table, chair, my materials).
  • I draw your guests during cocktail hour or dinner, guests come to me one by one (or in pairs, families). I also draw from photographs so that the celebration flows naturally and everyone can participate without being distracted by posing. (Each sketch takes 5-8 minutes).
  • They take it home, every guest leaves with an original piece of art.
  • For the bride and groom, I can paint a full-size painting in the studio and send it by mail.

Our gallery

Every face is different. Every wedding is different. Here's a glimpse of what live sketching looks like in practice.

Available Across Italy

I'm based in Florence and travel to weddings throughout Italy. If your venue isn't listed — just ask. I go where love takes me.

Florence & Tuscany My home region. Rolling hills, stone villas, golden light. I know this landscape well and love working here.

Amalfi Coast & Capri Cliffside ceremonies, sea views, the kind of beauty that deserves to be drawn.

Lake Como & Lake Maggiore Grand villas, still water, a timeless northern elegance.

Rome & Lazio History as a backdrop, romance as the mood.

Venice & the Veneto Gondolas optional. Sketches guaranteed.

Puglia & Sicily Masserie, olive groves, long summer light — some of my favourite weddings happen here.

Kseniia was a pleasure to work with and so very accommodating!

All of our guests loved watching a watercolor artist painting my daughter and her new husband in real time, and the small paintings that each of the guests got of themselves as couples were also a cute remembrance of the wedding. Kseniia was sure to take photos from which to work so as not to take guests away from the festivities.

Again, Kseniia, thanks so much for being a special part of our big day!

Kseniia was the most talked-about part of our wedding.

Guests were lining up, laughing, crying — it was magical. We now have 40 portraits that remind us of everyone who was there.

We weren't sure about live sketching at first. Now it's the one thing we tell every engaged couple about. Kseniia has an extraordinary gift.

Questions You Might Have

FAQ

Q: How many sketches can you do in one evening?

A: On average, I complete 25-30 portraits in a 4-hour session, depending on the complexity and how many people per sketch. (As a rule, these are paired portraits, i.e. there are about 30-40 guests).

Q: What style do you work in?

A: Primarily liner and watercolour. The style is expressive and warm — not stiff or overly realistic. I capture feeling as much as likeness.

Q: Do guests need to sit still?

A: Guests don’t need to sit still at all. I work in a quick, observational way and adapt naturally to the flow of the wedding. I can also create some portraits from photos afterward, so guests can fully enjoy the important moments of the celebration without being interrupted or distracted.

Q: How far in advance should I book?

A: It’s always best to book your date in advance, as the wedding season tends to fill up quite quickly. However, please don’t hesitate to reach out even if your wedding is just around the corner — sometimes I still have last-minute availability. So while earlier is definitely better, tight timing doesn’t necessarily mean it’s impossible.
